The shortest way is from inside the app
Under Profile ▸ Ideas and bugs there's an inbox that already reaches us with the app version and the language. If you'd like a reply, leave your email address: it's optional. If you can open the app, write to us from there.

To get a useful answer on the first try, tell us:
- the app version (it's under Profile ▸ About WordShot, below the title);
- the iPhone or iPad model and the iOS or iPadOS version;
- what you expected to happen and what happened instead.

The ones that answer themselves
How to cancel the subscription
In your Apple account settings, under subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. There's nothing we can do about it from the app: Apple handles the purchase.
How to restore a purchase
Under Profile ▸ WordShot Premium, with "Restore purchases". Your iPhone or iPad needs to be using the same Apple account you bought it with; if the app says "Nothing to restore", that account has no active subscription.
How to delete your account
From inside the app, and there's no need to write to anyone. We explain it step by step at delete account.
How to report a rival
With "Block and report", which shows up at the bottom of a match, on every row of the "The full deck" lobby, and on every row of "Your rivals". We explain it in the community guidelines.
Why an invite opens my browser
Because WordShot isn't installed on that device. The link in an invite or a challenge then opens a page on this site that explains what it is and takes you to the App Store. Once you've installed the app, tap the same link again: this time WordShot opens it, straight into the match or the challenge. If you already had the app and the link still opens the browser, write to us.
My streak is gone
A day counts if you read one word. If you're going away for a few days, with Premium you can pause it under Profile ▸ Pause and holidays and it won't break. If you think a day you completed has gone missing, write to us with the date and we'll take a look.
A definition looks wrong
Tell us which word it is. Every card carries the dictionary and the headword it comes from: we check it against the source and, if the card doesn't say the same thing, we correct it.
Is there WordShot for Android or the web?
No. WordShot is for iPhone and iPad.
What we can't do
- Refund an amount: refunds are issued by Apple.
- Recover the progress from a phone where the app was deleted without ever opening an account, because we don't have any copy of it.
